The Michelin Premier LTX Tire was launched by the tire giant Michelin in 2015. Since then, it has been offering superior all-season traction, ride comfort, and long tread life. Premier LTX gives high performance with all types of pickups, light-duty vans, crossovers, and SUVs. Michelin LTX is loaded with outstanding features to provide a fantastic riding experience.
Premier LTX offers a top-notch performance on wet pavement. This is possible with a combination of sunflower oil and a high amount of silica in the tread compound. The symmetric tread pattern ensures enhanced grip and handling on wet/dry surfaces.

Michelin has incorporated its EverGrip technology in Premier LTX. EverGrip widens the tread grooves and allows new grooves to open as the tire wears down which makes the wet/dry traction of a worn tire to be as good as that of a new tire. This technology can also be found in Premier A/S for cars. EverGrip technology is highly effective for the all-season touring class.
The one striking thing about Premier LTX is that you do not have to compromise one feature for another. Unlike others in its category, Premier ensures a comfortable and quiet ride without trading off traction and braking performance. The ride comfort can be attributed to the twin steel belts that have been bolstered with spirally wrapped polyamide cord and sat under a polyester casing ply.
Premier LTX offers durability, safety, and strength with quick response and excellent comfort, which can only be provided in a Michelin tire. All these features make Michelin Premier LTX a top-class all-season tire. Michelin Premier LTX comes in 34 sizes ranging from 16-22 inches with H and V speed ratings. The list of all the tire sizes is given in the next section.

Overall thoughts
We have already been speaking highly of Michelin Premier LTX in the full review, and we think it deserves all of this acclaim. Premier is not just one of the best but the best touring all-season tire in the truck, SUV, and larger crossover class. It won’t disappoint you, whether it be performance, comfort, or tread life.
“Safe when new. Safe when worn” is Michelin’s motto for Premier LTX, and the tire stands on this. Michelin has extended its EverGrip technology from its Premier A/S range to its LTX range, which is well understood by its performance. With Premier LTX, you do not have to worry about unpleasant and unreasonable road noise. The comfort is the best amongst other tires in its class.
If you are a driving fanatic and enjoy long rides after a rainy afternoon, then LTX should be your choice. Excellent performance and safety are what LTX is built to deliver, and it does just that. The drive is smooth on rough pavements as well. The tread life is above average and is braced by a 60k miles warranty.
