Ohtsu FP7000 Tire Review-Lets get started
Being part of the Falken Tire Corp umbrella, the Ohtsu FP7000 Tire is the company’s first addition to the performance touring tire model in the U.S., designed to provide year-round traction with more enhanced handling capabilities. As well as smooth and stable ride quality.
Also, the other attraction of the Ohtsu FP7000 tire is that it is priced to fit drivers on a tighter budget. Meanwhile, in FP7000 tire an all-season tread compound and non-directional tread pattern are used that are being combined with larger outside shoulder blocks. Consequently, delivering increased traction and cornering grip on dry road surfaces. And this is something that is a significant plus point for this model.
Moreover, its steering response is quicker due to the continuous center rib, and the brake performance is also improved with the tread design. To add more, high volume circumferential grooves and lateral grooves pn Ohtsu FP7000 Tire enhance handling on wet surfaces and reduce hydroplaning.
On the other hand, Ohtsu’s variable shoulder tread block design in the FP7000 tire reduces unwanted tread noise, and increases ride comfort. Also, inside the Ohtsu FP7000 tire, there are two steel belts and a high tension carcass, which adds strength and stability to the tire at higher speeds while extending the tread life. The Ohtsu FP7000 comes in a variety of 14-18 inch sizes and speed ratings up to a W.

Overall thoughts
The performance of Ohtsu FP7000 is surprising as it delivers pretty good dry as well as wet traction. Along with excellent cornering and stability for a low-cost tire. Furthermore, the steering response of Ohtsu FP7000 is quick and gives you total control while driving.
Although its winter traction is not that impressive but delivers excellent traction on snow surfaces that can be expected with an all-season tire, that is to say, it can handle well in lighter amounts of snow but driving it over heavy snow or ice is not a good idea.
Overall, the theOhtsu FP7000 tire does an excellent job in almost all areas. But couldn’t match the level of some of the higher-performing Michelin or Pirelli models, among others. And the best part is that its lower price point makes the Othe FP7000 tire an attractive option for those looking for new tires.
